Farmer's Delight
Vine & Barrel is a standalone mod: everything on this wiki works without Farmer’s Delight. If you play with Farmer’s Delight too, the two work together in a few places. Nothing needs setting up.
On Minecraft 26.x for NeoForge, that’s Farmer’s Delight Neoforged, version 1.3.3 or newer, which has its own wiki.
What Farmer’s Delight adds
Section titled “What Farmer’s Delight adds”- The stove heats the kettle. Farmer’s Delight’s stove works as a heat source for the Brew Kettle, and so does anything else FD counts as heat. Blocks FD lets heat pass through pass it up to the kettle too.
- Vines climb ropes. A ripe grape bush (red or white) or hop bush with an FD rope above it climbs up to 3 blocks and fruits along the rope, like FD’s tomatoes. See Crops.
- Rich soil speeds up grapes, hops and barley, as it does every crop you can use bone meal on.
- FD’s drinks ferment. Apple Cider and Melon Juice bottles go into an
Aging Barrel like our own bases, one serving each. FD’s apple cider becomes the same
Hard Cider that our 
Apple Juice makes, so there is one cider, two ways in. A barrel holds one
base at a time, so the two don’t mix in one batch. FD’s bottles come only as bottles, so a full barrel takes
8 of them; dispensers pour them in too. - Two cooking pot meals use our wine and ale.
- Our drinks count as FD drinks wherever FD asks for one.

Cooking pot meals
Section titled “Cooking pot meals”Cook these in Farmer’s Delight’s cooking pot. Like FD’s meals, they come in a bowl and give Nourishment.

Cooking with a drink gives you the mug or glass back, and our grape and sweet berry juice count as Farmer’s Delight drinks too.
Without Farmer’s Delight
Section titled “Without Farmer’s Delight”The two meals and the two FD drinks still exist, so worlds and inventories stay intact, but you can’t make them and the meals give no Nourishment. Took Farmer’s Delight out with hard cider still in a barrel? The batch finishes as usual; you just can’t take the base back out any more.
