Getting started
Vine & Barrel brings a vineyard, a brewhouse and a cellar to Minecraft. You grow grapes, hops and barley, brew juice and wort in a copper kettle, let it ferment and age in oak barrels, and share a round with your friends. Patience pays: an aged drink’s buff is stronger and lasts longer, and it shimmers in the glass.

Install
Section titled “Install”Vine & Barrel runs on Minecraft 26.3 with NeoForge 26.3.0.101 or newer, and needs no other mod. Install it on both the client and the server. Everything it works with, such as Farmer’s Delight, JEI, Jade, Serene Seasons and Biomes O’ Plenty, is optional and switches on by itself: see Compatibility.
Download it from CurseForge.

What the mod adds
Section titled “What the mod adds”
New crops- Grape bushes, red and white, and hop bushes you pick again and again, and barley that grows like wheat. You find them first as wild plants, in village farms and at the wandering trader.
A brewhouse- The copper Brew Kettle turns crops into juice and wort over a fire. It weathers like any copper, hangs from a chain if you like, and hoppers can run it for you.
A cellar- The Aging Barrel has no screen: you pour in, wait and tap, all in the world. Barrels join into racks and stack into walls.
18 drinks- Barley Ale, Hard Cider, Mead, Red Wine, Sweet Berry Wine, Wheat Beer and White Wine, each young and aged, plus Melon Wine with Farmer's Delight. Each gives a buff, level I or level II once aged. See Drinks.
Tipsy- Every drink adds a level of Tipsy: a sway and a little courage at first, hiccups and heavy eyes later. Know when to stop.
Taverns- Villages get a tavern with barrels already full, so you can taste a drink before you’ve brewed one.
