Compatibility
Farmer’s Delight Neoforged runs on NeoForge and needs no other mods. This page is for picking a modpack: which versions it runs on and what it does with the mods around it.
Minecraft versions
Section titled “Minecraft versions”There’s one file per Minecraft version, all with the same content (version 1.3.4+neoforged.2). Install it on the client and the server.

It replaces the original Farmer’s Delight, so remove that one first. Worlds and add-ons made for Farmer’s Delight keep working. See Differences from the original.
Recipe viewers and other helpers

JEI and REI both show the Cooking Pot, Cutting Board and Organic Compost recipes, and list the Stove and Skillet for campfire cooking. Click the arrow in the Cooking Pot to see its recipes, or use the viewer’s transfer button to move a recipe’s ingredients into the pot. Info pages explain wheat dough, straw, ham, knives and the wild crops; every one of the 6 knives has its info page in both.
AppleSkin reads food values from the game, so it shows hunger and saturation for every Farmer’s Delight food without any special support. While you have Nourishment, Farmer’s Delight gilds your hunger bar itself; you can turn that off in the client settings.
CraftTweaker support will come back once CraftTweaker is out for 26.x. Until then, datapacks can change all of Farmer’s Delight’s recipes.
Recipes for other mods
Section titled “Recipes for other mods”Farmer’s Delight brings its own recipes for a few other mods. They switch on by themselves when that mod is installed, and stay off when it isn’t, or isn’t out for your Minecraft version yet.
- Create (12 recipes): Millstone milling for the wild crops and Rice Panicles, Mixer recipes for Cabbage Leaves, Pie Crust and Tomato Sauce, and a Spout recipe that fills a Pie Crust into a Chocolate Pie. Its Potato Cannon can also fire cabbages, pies, pie slices, onions, pumpkin slices, rotten tomatoes and tomatoes.
- Immersive Engineering (16 recipes): Cabbages, onions, rice and tomatoes grow in the Garden Cloche, the Crusher grinds the wild crops and Rice Panicles, the Metal Press cuts pumpkins into Pumpkin Slices, and tomatoes and seeds go into the Fermenter and Squeezer.
- Silent Gear (1 recipe): Strip Netherwood logs on the Cutting Board with an axe to get Tree Bark.
Tags for other mods
Section titled “Tags for other mods”Farmer’s Delight puts its items in the shared tags most mods use, so another mod’s recipe that asks for “any onion”, “any cabbage” or “any knife” takes Farmer’s Delight’s too. It also works with a few mods directly:
- Create: air from fans blows through the Safety Net; the Stove heats a steam boiler; meals, drinks and feasts stand upright on belts. A Create Chute between a heat source and a Cooking Pot passes the heat up.
- Origins: fish slices, fried eggs and other meaty food count as meat.
- Tinkers' Construct: onions count as seeds.
- Ropes from Quark and Supplementaries: tomato vines climb them too.
With Serene Seasons, the crops grow in these seasons:
