Feasts set out on a table

Feasts are big meals you place as a block and share. Each one holds several servings, and anyone can take one by right-clicking it with the right container, usually a Bowl. There are 6 feasts. You cook or craft each one as a single item that stacks to 1.

A feast table: roast chicken, honey glazed ham, stuffed pumpkin, shepherd's pie, rice roll medley and gleaming salad, some already served, next to pies with slices taken.

Place the feast on a solid block, then right-click it holding the serving’s container. You use up one container and get one serving, and the feast shows one serving less. Holding the wrong thing shows a hint that names the container.

Roast Chicken: each Bowl takes one Plate of Roast Chicken. At 0, right-click the leftovers to clear them.

When the last serving is gone, most feasts leave a plate of leftovers. Right-click it to clear it away and get back what is left, such as a bone or a bowl. Stuffed Pumpkin is the exception: it disappears with the last serving.

Every serving from these 5 feasts is worth the same: 7 hunger shanks and 5 minutes of Nourishment. Pick one to see how it looks as you serve it:

Break a full feast and you get it back as an item, ready to place again. Break it after even one serving and the servings left on it are lost: you only get the leftovers.

The Rice Roll Medley is the finger food of feasts: it holds 8 rolls, and you take them with an empty hand, no bowl needed. Each right-click hands you the next roll, in this order: 3 Kelp Roll Slices, then 3 Salmon Rolls, then 2 Cod Rolls. When the last roll is gone, the empty plate stays; right-click it to clear it away and get the bowl back.

  • Gleaming Salad glows. The Gleaming Salad gives off light level 3 per serving left, so 12 when full, and it sparkles.
  • Comparators next to a feast read how many servings are left.
  • Pistons break a feast instead of pushing it.
  • Mobs walk around feasts instead of over them.
