Configuration

Farmer’s Delight has 20 gameplay settings and 2 settings for your own screen. The easiest way to change them is in game: on the title screen click Mods, pick Farmer’s Delight and click Config. Most changes apply right away; the few that don’t say so below.

You can also edit the files in the config folder of your game or server: farmersdelight-common.toml for gameplay and farmersdelight-client.toml for the display options. Each setting below shows its in-game name first and its name in the file after it.

These are in farmersdelight-common.toml.

Game Settings

Novice and Apprentice Farmers sometimes buy Farmer's Delight crops for emeralds.

Default: On. A change applies the next time the world loads, or after /reload. More

Special Wandering Trader Trades enableWanderingTraderFDTrades

The Wandering Trader sometimes sells Farmer's Delight seeds and plants.

Default: On. A change applies the next time the world loads, or after /reload. More

Sneak and use an empty hand on a rope to reel the bottom piece of the column back into your inventory.

Default: On. More

Dark Background Canvas Signs canvasSignDarkBackgroundList

Default: gray, purple, blue, brown, green, red and black. More

Farming

Rich Soil Boost Chance richSoilBoostChance

The chance that Rich Soil gives the plant on it (or a hanging plant under it) a free bone-meal boost each time its turn comes. 0 turns the boost off. A block gets its turn on average every 68 seconds.

Default: 20%. Range 0% to 100%. More

Tomato Vine Climbs Tagged Ropes enableTomatoVineClimbingTaggedRopes

Tomato vines can also climb other mods' ropes (anything in the farmersdelight:ropes tag). Careful: when such a vine is broken, it leaves the Default Tomato Vine Rope behind, not the rope it climbed.

Default: On. More

Default Tomato Vine Rope defaultTomatoVineRope

The rope a broken tomato vine leaves behind.

Default: Rope.

Crafting

Cooking Pot Recipe Book enableCookingPotRecipeBook

Shows the recipe book button in the Cooking Pot.

Default: On. More

Vanilla Crop Crates enableVanillaCropCrates

Lets you craft storage crates for carrots, potatoes and beetroots.

Default: On. A change applies the next time the world loads, or after /reload. More

Cutting Board Fortune Bonus cuttingBoardFortuneBonus

Each level of Fortune on the tool you cut with adds this much to the chance of every bonus result on the Cutting Board. With the default, a Fortune III knife adds 30%.

Default: 10%. Range 0% to 100%. More

Mushroom Stew, Beetroot Soup and Rabbit Stew give Nourishment, like Farmer's Delight meals.

Default: On. More

Rabbit Stew Buff enableRabbitStewBuff

Gives Rabbit Stew better food values and Nourishment, to match what it costs to make. With it on, Rabbit Stew restores 14 hunger and 21 saturation and gives 5 minutes of Nourishment.

Default: On. A change applies after a game restart. On a server, players need the same setting as the server. More

Sneak to Place Pumpkin Pie enablePumpkinPieSneakToPlace

You can always place a Pumpkin Pie as a block. With this on, you have to sneak to do it.

Default: Off. More

Cutting Board Dispenser Behavior enableCuttingBoardDispenserBehavior

A Dispenser facing a Cutting Board uses the tools inside it to cut whatever lies on the board.

Default: On. More

Stack Size Overrides

Stackable Soup Items enableStackableSoupItems

The soups listed in Soup Items stack like Farmer's Delight meals instead of one at a time. They stack to 16.

Default: On. A change applies after a game restart. On a server, players need the same setting as the server.

Soup Items soupItemList

The items Stackable Soup Items applies to. Names the game doesn't know are skipped.
